Comments: The central story takes place between CAPTAIN AMERICA Vol. 102 and 103. The framing story is set in 2001, three years after the publication of this comic. Cap refers to a girlfriend “Connie” who would later be developed into Connie Ferrari. Agent Nine pressures a subordinate by threatening to drop a bomb on his sister’s house at 447 Broad Street in Philadelphia; neither 447 North Broad or 447 South Broad is in a residential area.
